This is the art site of Steve Legge. I create art inspired by the breathtaking landscapes and charming townscapes of the Cotswolds, featuring scenes from places like Witney, Bibury, Cirencester, and Broadway. My work is rooted in the Impressionist style, ranging from vibrant acrylic paintings to delicate watercolor sketches. With 35 years of experience in the design industry and a background in art from my studies at Falmouth School of Art.

I offer a selection of cards, prints, and original artworks, each capturing the unique beauty and character of these iconic locations.

I have worked as a creative designer for my company One Hat in Oxfordshire for the last 25 years. About 30 years ago I qualified as a Graphic Designer from Falmouth School of Art. I have always painted and sketched in a range of media. My main subject matter is landscapes, local watercolour/sketches and small flower painting around the Cotswolds and Oxfordshire.

I like to keep experimenting with arcylics, watercolours and pencil sketches when creating new art pieces and have been inspired by artists such as: Pissarro, Cezanne, Paul Nash, Van Gogh, Pissarro, Sissley and Manet.
