This collection of original artworks was created in response to the character and atmosphere of the farm. The series includes loose watercolour sketches, expressive line drawings and original acrylic paintings inspired by the buildings, landscapes and everyday details found across Cogges.
Cogges Manor Farm is a historic working farm and heritage site on the edge of Witney, Oxfordshire. With origins dating back over 1,000 years, it centres around a 13th-century manor house and a collection of traditional barns, cottages and farm buildings that reflect centuries of rural life. Today, visitors can explore the historic grounds, meet farm animals and experience the rhythms of the countryside.
The line drawings focus on the distinctive architecture of the barns and cottages, using simple marks to capture their form, while the acrylic paintings bring greater depth of colour and a more painterly interpretation.
Together, the works celebrate the charm and heritage of Cogges Manor Farm and its enduring place within the Oxfordshire landscape.
